The highly anticipated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 Episode 7, titled "Awful Villain" is set to premiere today, Sunday, May 21, and fans are on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the Swordsmith Village Arc. Tanjiro and his allies are engaged in a fierce battle against two formidable Upper-Rank demons, and the fight is far from over. As the story unfolds, alliances are strengthened, and new threats emerge, promising an action-packed episode.
Variety reports how the season was actually already released in a film format in theaters, racking up a total of $30 million in Japan and $10 million in North America.
The manga-turned-anime follows the story of Tanjiro, whose entire family is slaughtered by a demon. The one surviving member — Nezuko — is turned into a demon herself, and the two set off on a journey not only to exact revenge against the demon but to also find a cure that will return Nezuko back to her human form.
As synopsized by a Crunchyroll news release, this new season of “Demon Slayer” sees Tanjiro head “to the Swordsmith Village, where he reunites with two Hashira, members of the Demon Slayer Corps highest-ranking swordsmen – Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokita and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji.
